Bodycount

Since bailing out of my job (owing partly to my continued slide into ill health, and partly to the rather insane actions of a friend of mine), two months ago...I have managed to kill or allow to die the following.

One Dell inspiron Laptop (fist through screen)
One Samsung hard disc 1TB, full of good TV, natural causes.
One Logitech G25 Steering Wheel, natural causes
TWO Asus EEEPC's, attempted to swap network cards between them leaving one with no touchpad and the other with a very odd keyboard problem (I also think I put the net cards back into the machines I took them out of).
Bound to be a few other victims I've forgotten.

Why couldn't all these bastard things have died on me when I had a fucking income.

That's like a grand+ worth of toasted kit.
Worst thing is, I cannot justify a new laptop, but at the same time £70 for a new screen for the old one seems a bit  steep......and a full size laptop that dual boots is a very useful thing if you want to go and play music in pubs as I am contemplating......netbook even with Ubuntu Netbook Remix on it, is still really only capable of playing mp3's back.....which is cheating.
